Planning Approval in Chelsea

Dyer Grimes Architecture has planning approval in Chelsea.

We’re delighted to have been granted permission by Kensington and Chelsea Borough Council to proceed with the renovation and first floor extension of a Grade II Listed house on Cheltenham Terrace in the Royal Hospital Conservation Area.

Despite the highly protected status of the house, Kensington and Chelsea Council were confident in our dedication to the original structure, including the restoration of historic features, the stripping away alterations of low significance that were made at a later date and the use of matching materials in the extension.

The purpose of the extension will be to improve the liveability of the house rather than increase it’s floor space, introducing a new WC to the first floor. Our work will ensure that this historic build will be preserved and enjoyed for years to come and able to keep up with the demands of modern life.
