Planning Permission for Contemporary New Home in Chichester Harbour AONB

Dyer Grimes Architecture is delighted to announce that Chichester District Council has granted us planning permission for a full demolition and rebuild near Chichester Harbour.

As the site is within the fiercely protected Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we knew we would have to provide high quality CGIs (which we produce in-house) to make our case that a contemporary home would contribute, not detract, from the area’s unique beauty.

For the composite above, we turned to our client, who just happened to have recently bought a drone. We asked them to take a photo of the site, which resulted in the spectacular photo above, on top of which we layered a perspective-perfect render of our plans.

When their new home is complete, the clients will enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding farmlands thanks to full-width, full-height glazing wrapped around the rear of the property.
