Planning Permission to Master Plan Oak Farm Country Estate in Cobham
Dyer Grimes Architecture are delighted to announce that we have obtained planning permission from Elmbridge Borough Council for full master planning of the Oak Farm country estate in Cobham, Surrey.
The original fabric of the 18th century historical facade will be retained, while the roof will be removed and all internal walls replaced.
Our plans reimagine the interior to make the most of the potential of this stately house, with a huge, open plan kitchen, dining room and snug; a music room; formal reception room; seven en-suite bedrooms and a master suite with a full size bathroom and dressing room.
This 12,000sqft house is in the heart of the Surrey Greenbelt, so planning negotiations were a serious challenge.
A new entrance road and tennis courts complete the external redesign. The main house, the stables and the pool complete are designed as separate buildings, linked by the local vernacular red brick.
