Dyer Grimes Architecture at Goodwood Revival 2018

The DGA team donned vintage outfits for a day at the races.

Goodwood Revival was bigger and better than ever before, and the DGA team showed up in style. A capacity crowd flocked to the circuit for the finest historic racing, with visitors completing the spectacle with dashing period outfits. The garden party atmosphere was the perfect way to make the most of the last days of summer.

Philip’s cousin was in pole position for the Settrington Cup pedal car race.

Goodwood Revival is a three-day car festival held each September at the Goodwood Circuit since 1998. The road racing cars and motorcycles featured are the very same models which would have competed during the circuit’s original period from 1948 to 1966.

Professional racing drivers are hired by the owners of the cars to compete on the famous Goodwood Circuit for coveted trophies, and to allow these lovingly restored classic cars to relive their glory days on the racetrack. The total value of the starting grid was estimated at £200m.

Vintage temporary buildings are constructed with authentic architectural details, while the nearby Goodwood Estate – home of the Duke and Duchess of Richmond and Gordon – completes the period splendour with its beautifully restored Regency architecture.
