Restoration of Grade II Listed Georgian House Beside Hampton Court Palace
Our latest commission is a full restoration of a Grade II listed Georgian house with Bushy Park on one side and the Royal Paddocks of Hampton Court Palace on the other.
It’s always a pleasure to be able to restore heritage assets, but rarely do we have the chance to do so while enjoying a truly royal view.
Even without its historic surroundings the house would be a feast for the eyes with its tastefully landscaped walled gardens. The abundance of mature trees and shrubs give them a grace and maturity equal to the house itself.
Such a historic site comes with an equally historic list of prior residents, including Captain W. E. Johns, author of the children’s wartime adventure series ‘Biggles’.
We will soon be applying for planning permission from Elmbridge Borough Council and are confident that our rich experience in restoring listed buildings will result in smooth negotiations and a successful outcome.
