With over 25 years’ experience in the industry prior to joining Dyer Grimes Architecture Matthew worked for 16 years within the property development sector, primarily on high end residential projects and luxury houseboats. The developer mindset has shaped his approach to DGA which focuses on budget and beautiful design to work up cost effective solutions for clients. He is well versed in double and triple basements, waterproofing techniques, swimming pools as well as working closely with builders and sub-contractors to make sure projects run smoothly.

When not in the office or on site he can be usually found walking his red fox Labrador (matches his beard) on some hillside reminiscing about the hills of Yorkshire where he grew up.
