Planning Approval in Notting Hill

Friday, August 14, 2015

Dyer Grimes Architecture has planning approval in Notting Hill.

We’re delighted to have been granted planning permission by Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council to proceed with a complete basement to roof redesign of a Building of Townscape Merit in the Pembridge Conservation Area.

Works will include the reorganisation of spaces on all levels, a new basement level and a single storey rear extension complete with a terrace and stairway for garden access. We worked closely with conservation officers to ensure every detail will enhance the building without detracting from its status.

The floor space will increase from 494 sqm to 722 sqm with large, open plan rooms ensuring the quality of the space matches the quantity. Though extensive exterior alterations are required, our careful use of period correct materials and design will seamlessly blend with the streetscape.
